What's compatible between KDX and KLX125

I've been looking for a parts bike for my two KDX's for over a year now with no luck.
A 2005 KLX125 with a KX fork conversion just came up on CL for a $1000 bucks. Wondering if the wheels, plastic/tank, fork setup would swap over to either my 97 220 or 06 200 ?
Also there is a 2000 KDX200 black with a KX fork swap as well on CL. It was FS last fall in NH. The guy selling it had only owned it for a couple weeks and was selling it for $1300.
Now the guy who bought it (another NH resident) has it up FS. Worried why whoever buys this bike wants to sell it soon after. The second seller wanted $2000 firm but now I see he's dropped the price to $1500
Wondering if he's been on here discussing problems. Any advise appreciated. Thanks Mike
