Any chance the front sprocket is spinning on the countershaft? (Splines on one or both are ruined?)

I can't think of much (anything, really) that it would be besides the clutch and/or the chain and sprockets.
Yeah, that's one that totally slipped my mind, oil type. What are you using Scrandy? Maybe drain it out and try some ATF Type F or even Dextron/Mercon Type III.

I'm am running Klondike atf without a friction modifier. I checked before I put it in.

That's a full synthetic, correct? If so, that could be the problem. I know some bikes and some synthetics don't play nice together.

I'm not sure it dosnt say anywheres. I just checked for a friction modifier which it dosn't have. Same stuff I always ran before with no issues. Actually on my old clutch the first time I changed the oil after I bought the bike I accidentally put in an atf with a friction modifier because I didn't see it listed on the bottle until I seen the bottle laying around about 2 weeks later and checked it again and realized. so I changed it after that. It actually ran fine with that stuff. Anyways long story short the fluid that I switched to after that never gave me problems.

If you used the EBC springs did you check them for proper length first? The last EBC clutch kit I got the springs were 2 mm short which made them unusable, had to order a set of OEM springs separately.

No I didn't. What would stock length be? I'd check mine but god knows how old they are.

IIRC spring free length should be around 36mm, with friction plates at 3mm and steel plates 1.6mm....or that might be for the E model...would have to check the service manual.

A service manual is something I don't have.

H-series free spring length should be 38.7mm with service limit at 37.2mm. BTW, end of clutch lever play should be between 10-20mm.

That is like a carpenter without a hammer.

You really should get one before you do anything else.
