thinking about Beta 300RR or X-trainer.
The Hybrid is basically a new bike. I have receipts for all parts and motor work. This bike is titles as street legal in PA.

Should you decide to sell, please contact me. I have been wanting to do a hybrid build just don't have the equipment or time to put into it. Would be much easier just to buy one. My email is Eddie21409 at gmail

No way, its plated in PA? Any chance you'd want to share how you made that happen? I would LOOOOVVVVEEEE to get my hybrid plated. I had thought the vin on the hybrid frame said it was a 125cc motor, and you had to have 200cc or more to get plates.

Hate to say it, but I may be interested also if you plan to sell...

Hahaha I did regret selling it to you! Even tried gettin it back!

But I'm not thinking about selling my hybrid, volkoff is thinking about selling his. Looking at the amount of money I put into mine, and thinking about how much I would loose if I sold it... no way. Need to hang on to her a while.

getting a plate on a dirt bike in PA is very doable. I have done this bike and a DRZ400E.
Yes, I probably will regret selling the bike. But there is a $$ amount that if I can get I would sell. Any lower and I will keep it. At this point I am just testing the waters to see if people are looking to buy completed hybrids and can appreciate what someone has done to make a custom bike.

I would be extremely interested to know how much you wanted. I was quite familiar with your build thread when I was researching mine, so I can appreciate the work you did.

Any links to more info on plating a bike in PA? Anything specific that I can search to read up on? Did you go through another state or something first? I'm in awe that you got yours plated here haha i wanted that so bad but did not think I could make it happen.

the key to plating any dirtbike in PA is finding an inspection station that does "enhanced inspections". they will fill out the correct paperwork from PennDot. over the years I read about the hassles of making bikes legal and it taking 6 months to do so. it is a bit of a hassle but if you follow PA rules for what items are needed to make a bike street legal it is not bad. the key is finding a guy who is willing to do it. and you absolutely need the title. no title no plate. the guy doing the inspection is putting his ass on the line by telling the state of PA that the bike in question is safe and meets all pa requirements to be a road legal vehicle.
