I have a KDX200SR
If I ride around the street or on flat dirt roads, there is no issues. However, once I put the bike under stress in 2nd gear, there's a nasty screech. I can force the sounds by attempting to pull off in 2nd with high revs.
I find the bike can't pull up a hill in 2nd also, but 1st and 3rd are fine.
Any ideas?

2nd gear screech
That doesn't sound good. If the SR trans is the same as the E-series then the 2nd gear on the output shaft rides on a bushing. The only way I can think of that gear screaching is that bushing is not rotating somehow. Sadly, the only way to check it would be to split the cases.

This post is from 2017. You may not get a response. I would do as what the other members suggested. Check the clutch, then crack the oyster
