KDX Plastics ?

I have a 97 KDX 200 will the KX plastics fit on it to eliminate the lights ???

I have seen guys with different style plastics on their KDX does anybody know of a websight to buy these ???

As far as I know... the style is the same... just the graphics are different. You can adapt a numberplate on the stock frontend if that's what your looking to do.

The shroud, and side numberplates have to remain OEM KDX or aftermarket for the KDX ....

What do you mean by adapt? like rig one to fit on. I am just trying to get rid of the headlight.

Generally that's what adapt means. There is not a ready made plate to replace it exactly.

No, I love the bike just bought it off a buddy but the lights don't work guess the magnito thing in the engine crancase part is bad. so might as well delete them

If the lighting coil is bad you could send it out to be rewound. Ricky Stator can rewind it for $40. Having a rewound coil makes a little more pull down low as well.

Do you have an address or phone number ?why do they need to be rewound just go bad i guess ? also I have looked at the wiring its all fine. is there a way to test or know that it would need to be rewound ?

If you have a service manual there is a procedure to test the lighting system. If you don't have a manual you should pick one up. Its got lots of useful info for maintaining your bike.

I have looked on ebay for a manual can't find one for 94 and newer bike thanks though
