Power valve help

Post by Cow Trail »

I finally got around to pulling the head on my 1991 KDX200 only to find the power valve had gunked up and actually wore out the gear on the left one, I found the valve on Babbits but they just got back to me a to tell me the valve was discontinued (I knew that was too good to be true). Does anyone have a spare left powervalve for the 1991 laying around?

BDK does steel replacement valves (see here). Not cheap, but not many alternatives.

Welcome to the forums. Do check out the BDK valves. It will be rare to find a NOS valve somewhere. You may try eBay for used.

And if you do find a stock valve, what assurance do you have that the same thing won't happen? I've got a right stock or two around, but both of my E's toasted the left.
