DEL to rich for woods pipe?

Has anyone else had issues with the DEL needle being to rich when running the gnarly woods pipe on a 200? The power delivery is nice, but it just seems very rich. Even with different needle position/pilot jet combos it's still rich. I have been down as small as 38 on the pilot. Is there a better needle to compliment the woods pipe? I have a BEP, which looks pretty much the same as the 1173 needle, but with a shorter straight section. Would that be a better fit? Any other needle suggestions?
