Where can I find maximum spring lengths?
I have a 2002 Kdx 220 and am replacing all linkage bearings and having shock rebuilt. To complete the package I will replace spring if necessary. Where can I find spring tolerances information?

Maximum?
It will shorten as it wears. Minimum length is given.
You may need to get the info from a service manual. I don't have mine handy to look it up

You are correct, minimum. I bought the manual this site recommends. It does not say minimum acceptable length for the rear spring.Jason wrote:Maximum?

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you. I have put a lot of effort into trying to find this information with no luck. My next step is to call Kawasaki once the local dealer opens for business.Jason wrote:Can someone please look in his service manual and post up what it says? I don't have mine worth me. Okay thanks. Disappointing that the Cyclepedia manual does not share that information. As much as I love that manual so far I found it does not include a few details like this.Jason wrote:Thank you, pump guy.
