Graphics Question

Post by Scrandy »

Hey guys! So this is a pretty stupid question but.. I noticed when I was ordering new graphics for my bike and trying to find oem style ones that I saw at least 3 different styles of stock graphics for a 2004 KDX220. Mine are the black stripes with gold stripe on the bottem and kawasaki written on the top of them in white. I also saw ones where it has a white background, and 2 black and 1 gold stripes with kawasaki written in black on the top, Then I saw the green ones with black and white stripes and KDX going down the front of them. Not sure if it's different from where they were sold or what. Just curious to know. Thanks.

I think it's just showing the different years. My 2000 has the big KDX going down. Kawasaki went more conservative after 2000. The 90's graphics were loud and colorful.

Are you looking for OEM Kawasaki or aftermarket that looks like OEM?

Yeah I think you're right Jacob. @Jason I couldn't find after market that looks like OEM that was on my bike on any site so I got them custom made. I almost did a retro restyle on my bike when i was getting new plastics replacing the old, warn out ones. Was thinking blue and green but decided to go modern instead. In two months I spent over $1200 on my bike in FMF pipe, v-force reeds, wiseco top end, cylinder replate, ect. hahaha. Good thing I have a job! I'm 15 so my friends are spending there money on fancy watches and fancy shoes and all this craziness. They think i'm crazy for sinking that money into my bike... oh well when there walking in there fancy $200 boots i'll be ripping by on my sexy kdx.

Also found out I had a stock piston. I was very lucky because there was a big crack going right up the piston skirt. She was ready to blow apart. Scary.

Wow. Good catch on the piston.

$200 on boots is OK if they are for off-road motorcycles.
