2000 KDX200 advice on upgrades

Greetings lads/ladies. I hope everyone had a blessed and Merry Christmas. We're in 2017 baby amen. I think it's time to spruce up the ole gal. The bike is a year 2000. 200cc. It has full fmf, gnarly woods pipe. Nothing else has been done to the bike and it runs like a champ. Starts easily, idles great, is faster than most KDX's that I've been beside. I want to do some reeds to see if I could produce a little more power. Even though it's not necessary I'd like to do a couple things to it. With a top end rebuild coming soon, from Yalls experience what reeds performs like mine, which is: great low end, linear power all the way to 6th. I can't keep the front end down. She's great. But I want greater [emoji1363]I maintain the bike great, and it has stock sprockets and I find it's perfect for me. But i would appreciate some insight on some reeds(especially reeds cause I've seen some bikes not change much at all and a decent chunk of change was spent) and maybe some other ideas. I'd like to do the head and carb mods eventually but not at the moment.
ALSO: My gas cap leaks a good bit, especially if I drop the bike. It's fairly new and I'm just going to order a new one. Any insight on what route I should take with that? I've never really had issues with it so don't know much about what to get. Thanks in advance everyone. I'm not an avid poster but I love this site. I've received so much helpful and important knowledge about these bikes. Always my go to!

Reed valve system like VForce3 is like the final touch, when you already have all the upgrades (FMF pipe, RB Designs carb and head, etc). The difference with stock reeds is not huge.

Check the fuel cap gasket or cracks in the cap.

its perfect. I just got it a couple months ago and it never gave me a problem. It'll leak while riding barely and if it's laid over it's heavy. I just don't wanna buy another crap one just seeing who out there has found the one :p and Roll Tide

ROLL TIDE

Any chance the tank itself is cracked. About ten or twelve years ago, there were some reports of tanks cracking.

yeah I'll prolly do the head and carb mods eventually. That's really the only other option. Just was wondering cause I've seen all types of stuff people do. Small and big. Just picking some brains. Thanks I'll pick that one up probably

If you want more power, do the engine. If you want more speed, do the suspension.
