Hi All, i treated myself to a vapor tech for MY 2000 KDX200.
Should it go in the hose from the cylinder head or between the rad and pump.
first location i think but would like confirmation.

Elsewhere on this site it has been suggested to install the heat sensor in the crossover hose between the 2 radiators.
I first intended to instal mine in this location.
IMO, the proper place for it is in the tapping on top of the left radiator. Unfortunately, Trail Tech does not offer an adaptor with M12 x 1.25 threads.
I bought a 16mm adaptor from Trail Tech, turned it down to 12mm in my lathe, and lathe cut the M1.25 threads. Fits perfectly although the wall thickness between the OD and ID adaptor threads is a bit on the thin side.
Oh, BTW, If anyone is interested, the thread size for Trail Tech's brass heat sensor is 1/8-28 BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe). Kind of an oddball thread size for us here in the USA, but taps are available online if anyone wants one.

I put it on the little hose between the 2 radiators up at the top.... just cut out about an inch of the hose and it fits right in perfectly. Just gotta make sure the wire is pointed down so it doesn't hit the gas tank
