I have them on my hybrid, front and rear. Worth every penny. Really nice to have in the gnarly stuff that requires two people to get out.

Anyone know the difference in the Tugger vs the Highline vs moose etc? Anyone run one on the front?

The "Tugger" is sold by Highline, Rec out of Utah so I would assume they are the same. I have no idea about the Moose product since I have never seen or handled one.

I will say I have both a Tugger on the front and rear of my bike but I have never used them. The only time I did need them was when I buried the bike to the side number plates in a hidden mud hole. Guess that happens sometimes when riding lead in the fall with leave covered trails. That incident is what prompted the recovery straps in the first place.

Thanks, I am going to get one for the rear but might pass on the front since I can just use the cross bar on the handle bars to handle the front in most cases. The rear one would be worth it just to help lift the bike on and off a work stand.

I just put a tugger on my bike a few weeks ago, seem well built. I think that I brought it on Amazon.

And for those of us to cheap to buy a $20 strap.....Use an old, thick webbed, tie down. Cut to length, drill holes, melt the loose fibers with a heat source and TA-DA a rear lift strap. I've done this with a couple of bikes, it works well enough as is technically free, since the straps I used were to worn to use as tie downs anymore.

I basically have the same 6 Riders. Mine is the real deal "Tugger" on front with a piece of climbing webbing commonly used for anchors on the rear.

Same here! Lol took a 2" wide strap and cut to length. After I marked the holes, I put a bolt in the vice and heated it up cherry with a torch. Then I just pushed the strap over it to make the holes and melt the fibers at the same time. Then used some HF do-it-yourself tarp grommets in the holes.. I haven't went crazy on it yet, but I can pick the whole back end up no prob. Cost nothing because I had the stuff laying around.
