Hi, I saw on a Cross training enduro skills video on youtube with a left hand rear brake install,ox brake kit,gives you two rear brakes like a bicycle one the bars with your clutch and your foot brake! looks like would be very handy in the woods. what do you think. wes colorado bones I need all the help i can get at 55 thanks this looks cool.

I would love to get one eventually but I don't see an Oxbrake available for our bikes. Maybe it could be retro-fitted to work.

Typically a LHRB is used when you have an autoclutch. I think it would get old constantly using one of those setups with just a regular clutch.

I had one on my hybrid, i loved it. But i also had an auto clutch. I had a fitting machined for my rear brake master cylinder.

I think the ox brake kit set up is retro- fit not sure. looks good if you stall on hill climbs when you go down on the right and you can't get to the rear brake with your foot and don't wan't to roll back and crash two brakes hold way better then one right .loading up bike ect looks like may have lot's of uses and fun messing around even if you don't use an auto clutch setup. just like a bicycle very easy to get used to shorty leaver by clutch out of the way just so you can get one or two fingers on it they say.youtube review.don't know never used one.found the ox brake kit on cross training videos on youtube along with these awesome Clake company levers clutch and brake set ups all kinds of cool levers for enduro cross training ect way cool stuff.check them out sometime I guess you have to learn to go slow before you can go fast safely. I know I will be working on some of there stuff soon I can always wan't to learn about riding skills looks like you can make your own set up for cheap like people have on youtube I my try some day soon thanks wes colorado old bones. hey these kdxs sure are like a drug i sure like my new bike 2003,200

Yea i sold it last week. I took it way harder then i imagined. I guess i had so much time invested in building it, i got a bit attached. Seems like a great guy that bought it though, he is all ready adding some new stuff to it.

I'm done riding for a while. My boys are wanting to take up camping. We will see how that goes. Maybe ill look for another project this summer.

Sorry to hear that, Roy. Gotta' go with what the kids want to do though I understand. I hope you enjoy it! Tried to get my wife to go camping with no luck.

Besides auto-clutch users, I know that the street bike stunt guys put on handbrakes so they can do stand-up wheelies and still be able to tap the rear brake to keep them from going over.

I know that a lot of those guys just ditch the rear master cylinder for a new one mounted on the bars. It looks like Roy's set-up lets you keep the rear pedal functionality. Is that correct?

Yes you have the use of both levers.

EFM, Revloc (if you can find a used one) and the ones I put together with a Rekluse.

Do you have a link to a purchase page for any of those?

I don't have the website for EFM, but I'm sure it will turn up in a google search.

Revloc doesn't make them anymore. I would avoid a used one for that reason alone. Plus there are some issues.

I had the efm on my 250 and it was great. But on the 200 and 220 you can't have the clutch lever with it.
