top end gaskets

I'm getting ready to do a top end rebuild on my '01 KDX200.

I've been looking at a gasket set from Cometic.

Do you guys suggest an aftermarket set like this, or should I go with OEM?

I've used Cometic and Moose (probably just rebranded Cometic) kits with no issues on my KDX, KLX and RMX

I recently used a Moose Racing top end gasket set. Very complete and everything worked great.

Cometic would probably get the nod as a more quality set perhaps.

Thank you everybody for your responses. I see Cometic has two gasket sets for the KDX200, one for 68mm bore and one for a 73mm bore.

Can anyone help me figure out which one to order?

The 200 has a 66+ mm bore while the 220 has a 69+ mm bore.

Can't say for sure but would expect the head gasket IDs would be a bit larger than the cylinder's bore to allow for some clearance.

I would check with Cometic to confirm what is correct for your engine.
