I'm looking at new reeds for my 2001 KDX200
I see Boyesen has the Superstock fiber reeds and Superstock carbon reeds.
Are the carbon reeds worth the extra money or should I stick with fiber?

fiber reeds vs. carbon reeds
Either are good..... It all depends on your budget .
I'd say the carbon reeds would be a better option for various reasons longevity being just one.... Performance being the other.

I'm not sure which is better but i just installed the power reeds and noticed a little better response and more top end (running stock pipe) Had to go richer on the main and lean the pilot so maybe look at jets also. Your results may vary.

I didn't see them listed at Rockymtn, but I'll do a search for them.sarrant wrote:Why not Power Reeds?bws2 wrote:I'm looking at new reeds for my 2001 KDX200

Do you think they'd be better than the super stock ones?

Yeah, I had to go to Motorsports Outlet to get the Power Reeds. Don't forget jets if you don't have some already. Mine likes 40/155 @ 3500'+ all stock except w/PR.bws2 wrote:I didn't see them listed at Rockymtn, but I'll do a search for them.sarrant wrote:Why not Power Reeds?bws2 wrote:I'm looking at new reeds for my 2001 KDX200

Oh, and they don't come with a cage gasket. If you are careful reuse the original with some sealer.
