Is the carb new or used? Maybe it is a dirty carb?

NGK BR8ES is fine for most 1989 - 1994 KDX200's.

My manual says br9es... I know the number has something to do with the temperature, but can you explain whats the difference and when do you choose 8or 9

Float level ok?

8 is for trail riding, 9 maybe for high speed dessert or maybe MX. I never could get mine too rub right and switched tip an 8, plug temp turned great from black
