Air box/ snorkel tips?

Remove the subframe piece that bolts on and it will come out the side. H series If your just installing the carb hold it up in position, install the slide and tighten the cap push the back of the carb into the airbox boot enough that the front clears the intake boot, then push the carb over and slide it into the intake. If the airbox boot is not as flexible as it once was, you can tighten the clamp on the back of the carb before you pull it into the intake side. That way the carb won't pull out of the airbox boot.

It is a sub pipe, not really a sub frame. It is the left rear frame bar that bolts in / out.

This is where having a service manual pays for itself.

Air box/ snorkel tips?

Look at the third and fourth pictures, the sub bar is removed in picture three and installed with the air box in picture 4.

Also looking at the picture you linked, it is a good idea to route the front brake line to the inside of the fork, catch it on a branch or something else in the woods and you'll more then likely tear it off.
