Finally got the time to complete the top end job on the bike. With the exception of the cylinder bolts, nothing difficult at all.
I'm at the point to put the tank and seat back on a notice that I ahve an extra hose that I can't figure out where it is suppose to go. It just looks like a crankcase breather hose to me but I would like to be certain.
One end of this mystery hose gose right into the backside of the kickstarter. The other end I can't figure out where it is suppose to go. The very very end looks clean so I'm thinking it is suppose to go somewhere. I think I may have found this hose in the manual and if so it says it goes into the airbox. OK, where in the airbox.?
As always, thanks for the help. Should be all abck together tomorrow.

I think it should go to the air box. Look just above and near the upper lip of the airbox for a hole that the crankcase beather hose will fit into. This will keep your tranny free from water during deep crossings too.

Found it - thanks.
Should be firing it up tomorrow. Any bets on whether she'll fire or not?

A btw...
I put my breather hose into the airbox with a 'glob of goo' (a technical term for a well-placed bit of black RTV on the inside of the box).
Keeps it in place.
