What size pilot jets do you guys run?
I'm just wondering if anyone runs any extreme pilot jets on their bike? I have an 85 kdx200, and bought pilot variants from 10-110. 35-40 = pilot= not running. So just curious what other pilots other people use. Anyone ever tried a 100? Or 10? The extremes of the extrememes?

I run the right one
I think I'm atrying a 45 right now in my 90
35-40 sounds pretty lean but I don't know what that model came with

Yeah there would be no sense just trying the extremes. Both will be way out of range of what the engine needs.

In stock configuration, the bike had a 40 in it.
It's a 32 year old bike. It may be a combination of issues.

Well....ran pretty good with a 100 pilot. Running a little rich so I'l prolly go down to a 90. Would have never guessed it would be that far from stock.

Compensating for another issue I'd be checking the intake tract for air leaks and your crank seals compression? That's over double stock something has to be wrong there....

Yes, you have an issue somewhere else if you think it is running well there. Re re re clean the 32 year old carb.
