Hi all,
Just a quick question, is it normal for a kdx200 (89' sr) to have a bit of room between the rear axle spacers and swingarm before its torqued down?
Ive noticed the swingarm is pulled in by the torque on the rear axle nut, about 1 or 2 mm. I have a slight bind on the rear brake so thought this might be why
Ok, 2 quick questions; Are the left and right spacers the same?
Thanks
kdx200 swingarm/axle gap

Re: kdx200 swingarm/axle gap
Are you sure you have the correct spacers? There should not be a gap back there.
Thank you for participating on kdxrider.net.

Re: kdx200 swingarm/axle gap
My '89 KDX200F1 (Aussie version of SR) has always had a gap between the s/arm and spacers before the axle is tightened so I guess it's normal for this model!
L & R spacers are the same.
Brake binding could be due to the brake caliper piston not returning - maybe the piston seals need replacing?
Cheers
