Hey on the left side of my bike (04 kdx220) the paint on the frame had worn off in one spot. So I was wondering what the closest color of paint I could buy down at crappy tire would be. They sell mostly rustoleum and krylon spray paints. Thanks

in my experience, no good "crappy tire store" paint match. get ColorRite off road paint. # 3050-OR kawasaki lime green. as close to perfect match. got mine off computer/ebay/amazon whatever lowest price. around $15 - $20 + shipping. well worth it

That paint is pretty expensive though, id like to do this some what cheaply. Is there any close matches?

My frame is silver and the paint I was looking at on there was like $60 if I remember correctly

You could get a few shades of silver and test it out. If you lightly mix a couple, you may get it close.

2003 to 2006 were various gray or silver colors.

1988 - 2002 were a lime green.

196 - 1988 were a silver / gray color.

I think before 1986, they were all black.
