Look at some older posts on here. A guy mentioned dimension comparisons and modifying a newer model.

Would you consider conversion to 220?

Its been 10 years since I had mine done by Eric Gorr but I sent off the cylinder and it came back with a new 220 piston and ran great. The only caveat I would render is that Eric is a lousy packer and the clutch cable retainer arm on the cylinder was bent on 2 of the 3 cylinders I sent him.

The 220s ran great and I raced them in FTR Hare Scrambles for several years. It was almost as fast as my buddy's KIPS equipped/lighter flywheel weight KDX 200(but definitely more tractable). I did have to shorten the piston skirt to clear the crank counterweights.

Can't tell you if it was a straight bore job(I seem to think that was the case), bore/recoat, or sleeve.

In any case, I think this is a good option and I wouldn't hesitate to repeat my choice again. If your motor is unusable, its an especially good option(unless you are outside the US, which your profile doesn't say).
