Hi all, Just a question but is there any difference between the kdx200 carburetor and the kdx220's one ? can I use the 200s on my 220 or will it effect my bikes performance or not cause any issues at all ??? :butthead:

April fools??
The 200 carb is a 35mm,the 220 has a 33mm carb. I've heard of guys putting a 200 carb on the 220 for more top end.

I have a new pwk35 on my 220

it works great, even with super rich jetting.

The 35mm carb from a 1995+ kdx 200 is a straight swop on the 220, you will need to use the needle from your 220 & change out the main jet for a richer one, you can also run the 35mm carb from a 1989 onwards kdx 200 also but the slide on this carb is leaner & the needle is different too ( not that you'll be using them).....you can also run the 36mm carb off a 1990/91 kx 125 ( I do )
