Hello
I have another question
My 91 kdx stalls when its cold en idles
It starts normal with normal rpm but the rpm lowers until it stalls
Cleaned the carb and put a new sparkplug but didnt solved the problem

the idle mixture probably needs adjusting, or turn in the slide stop screw

When the engine is warm it idles fine
So i dont think i need to mess with the idle screw

Is it possible i have wrong jets?
Pilot jet is 48
Main jet 150

Sounds reasonably normal to me. That's what the choke is for to give it extra fuel to air ratio when cold. When it warms up your normal jetting is fine.

Playing with the pilot air jet is just to make it perfect. Normal is about 1, 1/2 turns out and if you find the best spot to be more like 1 a turn out then your pilot jet is to small If the best spot is 2 turns out then it to big.
The air passage from the air screw and pilot jet passage meat and atomise before it enters the carb body by screwing the air jet in or out you add more or less air to what the pilot jet is delivering. So screwing it in reduces the air making it richer. Out increases air so leaner.

There is overlap in jet size and air screw position so what ever works for your bike. The reason they set it for 1.5 turns out it that's the perfect atomisation before it entered the carb body. You don't want neat fuel because lumps go down the hole and doesn't vaporise resulting is a poor bang. All air is not going to do much either.

When mine was doing this, it was time for a top end.
