I don't think it's even possible to run that much fuel through the engine that fast. it has to be leaking from the tank or bowl vent

I agree with david. Fuel consumption that fast is very abnormal and the should be easy to spot.
How does the bike run right now? If it were all going through the carb, I imagine the bike would be running very poorly.
With the bike running, can you see fuel leaking anywhere?

No that the thing there is no Fuel leaking that I Can see. Its very Abnormal and frustrating!, i just pulled the carb apart cleaned the jets and check everything over twice. Cant see anything iv cleaned the air filter thats all good now... bike still runs fine but have noticed that power band kicks in a lot harder then normal... I really cant see the issue

Re: 2002 KDX220 fuel
Are you on the throttle hard everywhere you go? On my 'ski for example, I can run 15 gallons through it in an hour if I hold it wide open the whole time, or... I can trail ride up the river and put around at 20mph for 3.5 hours and still have 5gal left over.
I have ridden the KDX for over 3hrs just picking my way through the woods for 6-7 miles and a few miles of open space @ 35mph to get to and from the trail and that would take almost a tank of fuel. So I guess your consumption is feasible, just depends on how long the bike is actually running and how hard you are pushing it.

Hi all, can anyone tell me if the kdx220 carb is any different to the 200 and if I was to put a kdx200 carb on my 220 would it effect the performance of my bike ?
