One of our KDX's is getting new (heavier) springs. It's at the shop, and they said it will be about three weeks, so if you still need some then, I can help. Sorry it's not sooner! We both wish it was! :-)

I added 2003 KLX 300 USD forks to my bike about a year ago and had them rebuilt with all new Racetech springs, valves, etc., to match my weight and riding style. I have the entire 2004 OEM KDX fork and triple tree set but I really don't want to disassemble it. I do, however, have the original KLX 300 springs and I would be happy to ship them to you free of charge from my plant if you think they would be of use to you. I don't know the original design, weight target, etc., of these springs but look them up and if you think they'll work I'll have them to you asap.

They've been great. I'm 6'1" and 210lbs in gear so I had the rear shock rebuilt and a proper spring installed along with KLX forks properly rebuilt and sprung. Bike handles well and is very stable. Before it was too mushy.

See if you can find some 1998 - 2004 Honda XR400R fork springs. They are .40.

In reality I'm probably never going to do anything with my stock 2004 front end. It's complete with triple trees and still completely assembled with the exception of the front axle, brake caliper and wheel. If this will help you I can fedex it to you tomorrow from the plant for either Saturday delivery or Monday delivery. Given that the shipping is pretty expensive send me the $ cost of the springs you're looking for and we'll call it even. Let me know if this is something that will work for you.

If this is a stock front end those will not be the correct Spring rate. Stock springs were 0.35kg rate.
