got my pipe yesterday.
i got my desert pipe yesterday. i know the number should be on the tab
k-30 right. but i got a weird number on it 095-020056. for some reason mine doesnt have the number on it or they switched numbers. i also got works connections radiator guards, a moose skid plate, and acerbis handguards. i also got a works connection rear caliper guard to replace the cheap plastic ones. i am going to go to my local parts dealer and get the rest of the stuff in a few days. you know wiseco piston, reeds, jets, and a gasket kit and a manual, i couldn't have got a better christmas gift.

According to FMF, that is the part number for a "desert" Gnarly pipe.

The -30 (rev) -35 (torque) stampings are how FmF marked their pipes for years. Very rude of them to not tell us in advance they were changing their numbering method!
FmF has had more than a reasonable number of 'problems' when it comes to the two pipes they make for the newer KDXs. Yeah...I suppose it's hard to keep all of those different pipe models straight...
Their catalog listings have been confusing for years, they have mixed up the profile definitions between KDX models. some pipes aren't marked at all..and they have incorrectly marked pipes in the past, too.
If your pipe is about 14" in circumference at the largest part of the bell (where the two cones meet), you indeed have a rev profile pipe.
Note the pictures of the two pipes on the FmF website. For both listings the pic is the same... a -35/torque/020057. That's very helpful (not really)!!
So...what you see ain't necessarily what you get!
You might think about a set of rad braces... The KDX rads can get pretty smushed by the bike just falling off the kickstand.
YeeHAw!! More stuff!!!
Have fun!

Below is a pic of a rad brace:
Note the NAME of the pic (in properties). Maybe it's not stolen if I say it CAME from
here?:
Anyway, a brace goes BEHIND the radiator and acts as a mounting support. A guard goes in FRONT of the radiator, and acts as a ...well..guard. They (the pair of 'em) keep 'things' from poking holes in or otherwise damaging the radiators.
Works makes a good brace. Well...I like mine anyway.
