I've got an '01 KDX200. I'm getting ready to repack my FMF silencer for the first time.
I've read that it's best to seal it with a bead of high temperature silicon.
Would this be something like Permatex Hi Temp Red RTV gasket maker or is there something else I should be using?
Thank you all for the help.

Re: sliencer repack - high temp silicone
I always used the ultra black RTV because I always have some on supply in the garage for auto repairs. They are both high temp, I would think either would be good for this application
