Getting lots of oil splatter on start up from rear exhaust all over mudguard. what oil ration do you use?
also have the following sett up
AIRSTRIKER 35MM CARB WITH A STANDARD NEEDLE
38 MAIN
32 PILOT
CANNOT GET IT TO RUN RIGHT FULL FMF EXHAUST
AIRBOX LID REMOVED
BOYSEEN REEDS
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE, GOING MAD
IN THE UK

how old is the exhaust?
and when is the last time you repacked it?
unless you do that FIRST you will not be able to get a good read on your mixture
having said that, I use KLOTX beanoil, 1:37.8

And you don't want to starting changing around ratios just to reduce spooge.
You should pick a ratio and then jet for it.

The 220 can be sensitive to jetting when altering the air box or carb, I would run 40.1 mix, 42 pilot jet & 152/155 main jet, std 220 needle in the mid position & 220 slide, air screw 1.5 turns out.....leave the air box lid on but remove the snorkel...run a new spark plug, clean air filter & fresh fuel & go from there.
