Doesn't say much about it.

Who's going to take an endoscopic view of the chain to see if it really looks like that, anyway?

It's not spec'd for your wee-strom anyway.............

Works pretty well as a sport touring bike for me
http://wibby.smugmug.com/gallery/649617

I've put over 14,800 miles on it since April 24

Bad roads, dirt roads no problem. Not really an off road machine like a GS but I'e seen some riders get pretty crazy with them off road.

I read something a while back that defined Strom as fast running water or something

pretty interesting. I used to have sport bikes, and an old yamaha 920 twin. It was the Euro model , not a virago. it was kind of like an old BMW, in that it was okay at a lot of things , but not great at anything. what kind of range does that V-strom have?

It has a 5.8 gallon tank, I usually fill up at around 220 miles, which usually takes 4.8 gallons

The more I ride the worse my mileage seems to get but I think that is from riding it harder.

I've never ridden anything bigger so I don't have anything to compare it too, but many I've talked to say it feels bigger than a 650, powerwise.

It has amazing headlites! Dual H-4's, I replaced mine with Silverstars.
I rarely need to use my high beems

Huh? WHat?? SPEAK UP, Wibby! I can't SEE 'ya!!!

Wibby T-boned a 'coon awhile back..and he didn't even wreck!! That was a pretty good testimonial for the wee-strom I thought.

Maybe he would've seen it with his hi-beams on.......;)

The 'coon was a little scary, hit it on the freeway at around 70mph at night in the fog

Barely felt it, but for the next 5 miles I was a lil shaken'!

I hit a planet (this one) golfing over the weekend

My ball was on a steep hill about 2 feet above my feet, really had to choke down on my club
The ground was frozen and all frosty
I gave her hell and Wwwwaaaaappp! I found myself lying on my back seeing stars then eventually nothing but blue sky, My head hurt, neck, back, left butt cheek, left wrist, and left ankle.
I never knew golf could be such a TOUGH sport!

First thing I thought was how much better I'd had been if I was wearing my dirtbiking gear!

I some how made it through the next 13 holes and rode back home on the Strom from Medford, it was a crisp 35* out! :partyman:
