where are you?

look for groups of dualsport riders on Facebook or advrider, there always some cool dudes to ride with that aren't going crazy to just ride fast.

some of my best friends have been found by going on camp n rides. if they act cocky or presumptuous, they're definitely the wrong guys to ride with.... look for the modest folks that don't bs and yap a bunch, but are really just there to RIDE and you'll be on the right track. :-)
Thanks Ohgood for the responses and great suggestions. I'm located in Washington State (Tacoma area).

I loved this post as I am older (53) and definitely slow. Might be driving 4 hours on Sunday to look at a mint 02 220 for $2500.00 Canadian. I will be putting on the flywheel weight if I buy her.
Whoa that was close!!! Damn kid is too fast for me to try and keep up to.

Hey KDXhopeful. I'm almost there (I'll be 53 in 6 months). I love my KDX200, I'm just not a very good rider yet.

Good luck with that 220, hopefully you can swing a deal. If not, maybe a bike closer to home turns up.
