That Asteroids game

On the side of the home page there are some video games. One of them is Asteroids that I spent a fortune on in my youth. I have figured out how to steer and accelerate the little capsule that is floating amid the asteroids trying to avoid getting hit. But....how do you fire your gun to blast those little f***ing rocks?

Was that question directed at me? If so...I have steel KIPS valves due to arrive tomorrow. So, it's getting better.
