Installing a new OEM throttle cable on my KDX200.
I read that I need to lube the top of the cable, but do I also have to lube the cable itself?
If so, how do I do that?

I always lube my new cables. They make little devices that sort of clamp over the end of the cable and allow you to use the "red straw" that comes with cans of lube to shoot the lube down the cable. It still usually makes a mess but they work pretty well.
They're cheap and you should be able to find one at most dealerships or powersports stores.

Thank you, RadBaron. I'll pick up some cable lube and a luber.
