Update: engine is back. All bearings replaced. Looks nice and clean, can see the porting work a little on the intake.
Still prepping everything for full bike reassembly. Suppose I should follow tradition and make a video of first start up.

Can you post a picture or two of the porting work?

We settled on doing an overall better flow porting, since I didn't have any reference point for whether it needed more top or bottom end.
Picking up a 93 for my brother today, looks stock. Then I'll have some ability to compare.

Late update:
Picked up some parts from SS (thanks dude!), cleaned some parts, installed some parts, built my brother's bike while waiting for parts, etc.
Need some new jets before I start it, and needs a chain installed, but here she stands!

I was going to stick to the white and blue theme, but I'd have to get a lot more plastics replaced, so white blue and green it is!

Still needs a chain, some exhaust hangers, tranny oil and a break in!

Got the chain on, brakes flushed and bled. Rear brake isn't flushed to clear fluid yet, though. Having the MC at or below the caliper doesn't help the process.
Then add some fuel and kick it over. Fingers crossed!

First start!
Followed by first ride(after warm up).
I only made it to 1/4 throttle and 4 gears, but I love it already!
