There are three bolts holding the muffler to the frame. Rubber grommets around these allow some vibration I think ( the bike is at the shop so I am using memory).
Each costs $20 CAD and all of mine are kaput.
Has anyone found a cheaper solution than buying OEM replacements?

Mine were gone when I got the bike. I've used a single solid mount bracket since i've had the bike.

Are you talking about the pipe or the muffler? The muffler has two mounting holes that are supposed to have rubber gromments with a bracket thru each. Both are gone on my bike. The end one I replaced with a metal solid bracket. The pipe has three mounting tabs. All of the rubber dampers were busted on my bike, I had drilled them out at one time so they could be solid mounted. I replaced them with new rubber dampers and they reduced the amount of vibration and noise by quite a large amount.

I worried about solid mounting them.
I think it's the muffler that has three rubber mounts. But in any case that's what I was talking about after looking at the microfiche.
I am going to order one new mount and then see what I can create using rubber for the other two.

If it's the silencer:
I made my own. Take the thing to your local hardware store along with the fasteners and fix it!!
I used a split (grooved) grommet sort of thing..a ferrule of the correct diameter to fit the existing hardware..done!
If it's the pipe? Good luck! OEM, I think. Yeah.,.they are expensive. If they don't fit too good, you probably need to tweak your pipe for a better alignment. That's a lot simpler (to bend the pipe) and harder (to get it to FIT right) than you might think.
