Kdx200 ruff idle

Post by Daxter3000 »

Hey there, after doing a rebuild. New wiseco piston rings, boyeson dual stage reeds, and an fmf goldseries pipe, went to start it up for the first time, second kick it fired with choke, once it had warmed up i flicked the choke off and it was a very up and down rev ruff idle i adjusted the idle screw but was still pretty ruff any suggestions? I believe it has stock jetting, i have no knowledge on how to jet what would i change? Thanks in advance

definitely check your pilot circuit in the carb i.e. pilot jet, mixture screw, etc. theres a jetting guide by Indawoods on here that is pretty accurate, go by that to get your carb dialed in. if you're still having issues, check for vacuum leaks, and if your throttle isn't sticking
