Some scratch in the compression area and the new piston is too loooose also.(what they said)

The shop who replate jugs ask for the new piston...you are right.

Yes I will post pictures. He will do this before the new spring season.

I hope they (pics) will be better than the C.C ones in his gallery :rolleyes:

Not $250! It WAS a bit over a year ago...but USChrome I recall charged $150.

Why the pits?

USChrome said it was due to porosity of the base metal. THEY say it's a good thing...places for oil to hide. I am far from convinced.

Curious...did you consider Langcourt? Why choose the bernard place?
