I pulled the carb on my KDX200 and noticed some fuel down in the airbox tube.
Any ideas what would cause this?

could just be some air/fuel mix that didn't pass through when the throttle closed or that just got pulsed out, seen it in all my bikes. if theres an excessive amount, check your reed petals and float needle for proper sealing

Could also be excess air filter oil that has settled in the bottom.

+1 on this , your bound do get some seepage off the filter
