i have a 2000 kdx 220 ,runs great most of the time ,it just started to bogg & spit at times ,some times you can rev it when sitting still & it will spit through the exhaust ,it seems to give the most trouble when climbing hills or riding hard ,have put in new air filter & spark plug ,checked carb (it looked clean) also repacked silencer ,nothing seems to help ,sometimes you can ride for couple of hours & will only do it once or twice & some times it seems to do it so much you cant ride it.

Try a new spark plug cap & go from there.....the NGK rubber ones are good.
