DC system back to AC
Hi guys, my DC electric system I set up isn't working well for me so I want to convert it back to AC for better power. I have the stator rewound and ground floated. Is it possible for me to use the floated ground output with the stock regulator? Can I just ground the second output to the frame instead of taking it apart and grounding it out at the stator? It just makes it easier if I could.

Re: DC system back to AC
one side of the stator output is grounded on a KDX200.
run a wire from the floating wire to the crankcase metal to ground it. (which wire is important. only the correct one of the two can be grounded)

Re: DC system back to AC
I was able to trace wires from my stock harness and ran the floated ground to the ground input for the stock regulator. Then all output is connected to that. It worked out fine. ThanksJaguar wrote:one side of the stator output is grounded on a KDX200.
