Hi I'm new to forum n 1st bike in 15yrs! I've got a early 90s Kdx 125 n a 90s kmx 125. I'm restomoding both concentrating on Kdx first n have some questions, 1, can the rear shock be rebuilt? N if so where do I get seal kit n stuff from n some sort of manual or guide? I'm in UK? 2, it currently has rwu forks so what yr kx USD forks if any bolt st on? I know later Kdx s had em I'm just thinking newer/easier to get, mines had a sleeve in barrel which is fine but is there a kx barrel that will bolt on or can a 125 barrel take a 200 sleeve? Lastly, when u press pin out on big end is there a special procedure or is it just press out? Will a 10ton press do it? Hope 1 of u can help? What's u guys views on Kdx 125s? I rode a new 1 20+yr ago but can't really remember!!

When I saw a KMX years ago I thought it was just a flimsy version of the KDX, made for use on the street.
Since it is an international model not sold in the USA I doubt you'll get much feedback. I don't know what parts. if any, are interchangeable with the KDX.
yes you just press out the crank pin. No way can a 125 cylinder take a 200 sleeve.
yes the KDX shock is rebuildable although I prefer to replace it with a better shock.

I'm rebuilding both bikes prob going keep Kdx enduro style n kmx supermoto as I know a kmx 200 cylinder will go on n how rapid it makes em! Kmx s are excellent bikes in general n very close to the 86 kx 125 they based on, thinking of putting aprillia rs 125 wheels on it
