1997 KDX 200
Hey guys and thanks for having me, as I just joined up. So Ive had many yz 250's over the years, but this is my first kdx and Im definitely happy with it, just not familiar with what type of mods helps it the most?!? Got a fatty FMF on it, should I change to a gnarly or leave it? New twinair filter. Powercore II silencer. Thinking of adding Boyesen reeds. Flywheel weight possibly? Thanks in advance for the input.

Personally, I would leave the current pipe and flywheel. Focus on nailing down the jetting. Might switch to dual-stage reeds for a little broader power.
But almost all the biggest gains speed-wise after that are in the chassis, especially the forks.

What is your weight in full riding gear, including water backpack, extra tools, etc.?

.40 springs will probably be to light for you.
