bed liner removal

hey guys got a question for ya.i got a 91 kdx 250 and the last owner sprayed all the plastics with black bed liner.since parts are almost impossible to find is there a way I can remove it without damaging the plastic.any help would be great.thanks

I don't envy you,that's going to be a crappy job. Can it be peeled off? Find a lime green bedliner and re spray?

try gasoline, MEK or something strong

thanks guys.ya I spilt a little gas on the tank and now my hands are black.

thats soooooo funny. I bought a parts bike, 93 kdx 250 that has LEGIT bedliner/rhino line on ALL plastics. gas tank and all. who would do that, really. it's twice as heavy now, but brutal as hell. It looks kinda cool, until I pick it up. There is no way to take this stuff off, it's on for life.
