Of course this question is geared to you plated KDXers but Do you balance your tires , Leave the rim loc out or just deal with it? Going to balance mine ,but was curious while I wait for my package to arrive. Thanks

I Just leave it alone. But I don't ride far on the street either.

I balance when a rim lock is installed.

If you don't need the rim lock for the street take it out. If you do need one add a 2nd one 180 degrees to balance it out. That way you won't need a ton of lead weights.

Has anyone ran No locks on there KDX? I would hate to turn a rim a rip a stem off.

I've run a KDX without a rim lock. While nothing bad happened, I wouldn't do it again because flat tires suck. If you spend a lot of time in the 40-60 mph range, you'll probably want to balance the tires.
