2002 KDX 220 CARB
I have a 2002 kdx 220 and its leaking gas out the overflow. How would I go about fixing this? I was told that I had to get a new carburetor. Any ideas?

2002 KDX 220 CARB
Welcome to the group.
First, take the carb apart and check the condition of the float needle and float level.
Most likely you will need a new rubber tipped needle, and maybe reset the float level.
Next, GET A MANUAL. This is the single best tool you can get for your KDX. It will answer just about all the questions you have about this bike.
Next, read up on the weak 220 piston issue. If you have a stock piston, these are prone to cracking with catastrophic results. Again, much has been written here on this issue.
Good luck,

What he says, only get the manual 1st. Mine was doing that, the needle was stuck and my float level was way off.
