Does anyone know if you have to buy the Boyesen Rad valve replacement reeds or will any reeds made for your specific bike work on the rad valve?
New rad valve reeds are 70$
Other boyesen's are half that

I'm pretty sure I paid less than $50 for mine. Check OEMCYCLE.COM.

thanks, finally ordered the right valves thanks to your post. i have a stock reed block with good reeds AND new reeds sitting on the shelf, useless.
if boyesen labeled their cage as "RAD VALVE " it would have been a lot easier the first go round.

Re: Boysen Rad valve
could this reed cage / rad valve information go into a sticky somewhere?
I'm sure a few people have been perplexed when none of their new parts fit.
I'll take pictures as needed.
