Drive time
Depends on condition and $$. For mint I would drive a few hours. I drove 2 hours one way for mine. I would have drove 4 hours one way for it if I had to.

I don't think you got the question, he isn't asking how far it is to the trails, he is asking what radius to look for KDXs injjavaman wrote:How bad do you want it? When I go riding its a 4 hour drive round trip.....

Re: Drive time
They are getting so rare, or OVERLY expensive, around here, I'm looking at 3-4 hour drives to buy one anymore.

Re: Drive time
I drove 13.5 hours to get my 1994 KDX200. If I had to do it all over again, I would grab my keys and go.

Re: Drive time
Ya they are really bad in Seattle. In Coeur d'Alene/Spokane lots of them are junk if they ever do come along. I would have driven 4 hours round trip if the seller hadn't opted to deliver6 Riders wrote:They are getting so rare, or OVERLY expensive, around here, I'm looking at 3-4 hour drives to buy one anymore.

As long as your license to buy dirt bikes is not suspended, you will be fine.

Re: Drive time
Great stuff so far. They are getting expensive in Ontario as well. It's fun to read the lengths we dirt bike riders will go to get the bike of our deams. Any funny KDX purchasing stories out there? I just missed out on a 2001 220 street plated that the fellow was asking 2900.00 for. He seemed pretty firm on the price. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that close to what the bike was worth new 14 years ago? I must be getting frugal now that I have one son about to go away to University next year.
