wiring

question about my wiring....i have 3 leads coming off my harness at various points....i dont know what they are....are they ground wires that just need bolted to the ignition coil?...one comes from the killswitch, another the cdi, the 3rd i believe is for lighting. I cant post pics , it may be actually easier to show because i dont see anything on a diagram in my service manual...one lead bolted tom the coil is all i see in the diagram. My questions may sound stupid, but i only ask because i dont know
