clutch removal

Post by kaw814 »

hey guys...one more dumb question...my oil fill plug tore while taking it out...the rest of the plug is sitting inside on top of the clutch basket. The easiest way to get it out is to take the cover off and remove the clutch basket...what do i need to take the clutch basket out?....do i use a clutch holder? (no clue as to how you use one)...do i need to take the entire side case off or just the clutch cover?....im not the mechanic i used to be, ive forgotten how to work on bikes. Good chance its goin up for sale if i ever get done with it. Dont feel like dealing with it anymore

Easy fix, just take clutch cover off. It'll be right there

There are aluminum plugs available on E-Bay for about $15.
