Has anyone ever orders bearings and they were bad.

Post by bone7615 »

Today i received my linkage bearings for my kdx restoration and 2 of the damn things were junk. Just curious how often it happens.
If you had a choice to date supermodels for the rest of your life or ride dirt bikes, would you choose a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke?

I'm going to take a guess and assume the bearing needles fell out?
If so, just put them back in, lube with a high quality marine grade grease and install.

I've never seen that, even with cheap bearings

I've used all balls before. Without issue. However I've heard that some of there stuff is kinda crappy. Apparently it's not all made to the same specs. Some is made in USA, some is chinese, some is who knows. I would send it back and maybe try oem if you can.

Did you put them in yet, if so you probably damaged the race if installed with a hammer

I e-mailed motosport and they said it was a installation mistake so I called and the dude was really cool and sent me 2 oem bearings. It was weird to me I never had that happen. I usually always use all-balls because their cheap, I guess is always possible to get a couple bad eggs.
